Why “Kairos”

The Greeks had two words for time. Chronos is clock time, the seconds and hours that tick past. Kairos (καιρός) is the other kind: the opportune moment, the right thing at the moment it matters. You have plenty of the first and precious little of the second. This was built for the second.

Why it exists

There is more news than ever and less time to read it. Almost everything you are sent was written for everyone, which means it was not written for you.

Kairos works differently. It keeps a private picture of what you are working on: your projects, your people, your week. Every week it reads what happened across AI and business, picks out the handful of things that genuinely affect you, and emails you a short briefing that explains why each one matters to you, with a link to the source so you can check it yourself.

How it works

1. Tell it about yourself once. Paste a bio, answer a few questions, connect your calendar if you like.
2. A short briefing arrives each week. The few things that matter to your work, why they matter, and what you could do about them. Nothing is padded. Some weeks it is short. That is the point.
3. It gets sharper every week. Reply to the email to tell it what has changed. Tap “more like this” or “less like this” to teach it your taste. One tap turns any item into a ready-to-use note or brief.

Your context is private to you. Nothing is shared, nothing is sold, and Kairos never acts on your behalf: it prepares, you decide.
